Author & Illustrator Regina Tranfa

Regina Tranfa's creative outlet is writing and illustrating children's books. Her books have won numerous international awards which have then allowed them to be seen in Time's Square. Also this recognition has gotten Regina an invite to be a guest author at The Books That Make Us Table at the Los Angelas Festival of Books. The Took Me Series is a blend of Regina's conceptual thinking and illustration style. These books bring sudden joy and a sense of wonder to all ages. When Regina is not busy with her day job or illustration work, she loves to make vegan ice cream and gourmet popsicles to share with the neighborhood gang!

* NH Makers Festival 2019

* 2019 Girls Scouts "Reach for the Moon Event" - I was invited to be a guest at this event after being approached at The NH Makers Festival. The head of the Girl Scout Activities Leader felt I was a strong role model for young girls and that my book went along with the theme of their event.

* Indie Author Day - Guest Speaker at Dover's Public Library

*2020 Story Monsters Inc, Royal Dragonfly Book Award Honorable Mention in the Picture Book 5 and Under Category. The Royal Dragon Fly Contest is a worldwide book competition that honors excellence in all types of literature and book marketing.

*2021 Story Monsters Inc, Purple Dragonfly Book Award Honorable Mention in the Picture Book 6 and Over Category and Best Illustrations. The Purple Dragon Fly Contest is a worldwide book competition that honors excellence in all types of children's literature and book marketing.

*2022 The Book Fest Awards An international competition that honors authors who create outstanding works of fiction and nonfiction. Second Place in both Children's Beginning Readers and Juvenile Bedtime & Dreams Category.
